If you are an adult aged 18+ and would like to join us to perform in ‘Allo ‘Allo, here is the information you need about auditions.
The show will be performed at Central Studio in Basingstoke from 3 - 5 September 2026.
ACCESS AUDITION RESOURCES ONLINE: MEMBERS AREA
You must be a paid-up member to be able to access audition materials and the online audition form.
Access these resources by logging into your member account on the BATS website. If you are a new member, pay your membership online with a debit or credit card to gain instant access your account. Annual membership is £25 and runs from 1 July - 30 June.
ELIGIBILITY TO AUDITION
Cast members will need to attend ALL rehearsals (Monday and Wednesday evenings, 7.30pm - 10.00pm) as they will be a combination of setting calls, breakdown rehearsals and run-throughs.
Welcome talk and Pre-audition Workshop 1
You must attend the welcome talk or pre-audition workshop 2 in order to audition.
Date: Wed 20 May 2026, 7.30pm – 10.00pm
Venue: Christ Church, Reading Road, Chineham, RG24 8LT
What will happen:
7.30pm - 8.00pm
Presentation on the show, the characters, how we're hoping it'll play out in the theatre
8.00pm - 10.00pm
Breakout into round table script readings where you'll have chance to try out any characters you think you'd like to play. We'll break into two groups (or more depending on the number of attendees) and switch characters through the readings to give everyone a chance to try ideas and bounce off each other.
Pre-audition workshop 2
You must attend the welcome talk or pre-audition workshop 2 in order to audition.
Date: Mon 1 June, 7.30pm – 10.00pm
Venue: Christ Church, Reading Road, Chineham, RG24 8LT (Side room)
What will happen:
An open workshop session, where you'll be able to read through the script with other attendees and the creative team. Initially it’ll be reading around the table, as the workshop progresses there will an opportunity to act out scenes as well. You’ll be working in groups and have the opportunity to switch characters to try any characters you think you’d like to play.
Auditions
The online audition form must be submitted by 11.59pm on Wednesday 3 June 2026.

Performance Fee
If you are successfully cast in the show, a performance fee of £60 is payable (can be paid in full or in three instalments).
